Dad Passes Away While We are in Marrakesh

This is really hard to write about so I will make it brief.  My father David Fleming passed away while we were in Marrakesh and we had to find our way back to Canada for the funeral.  The rest of Marrakesh is a bit of grief-filled blur.  I know we went on a carriage ride around the Medina walls.  The carriage driver was quite enamoured with our son and he had Dax come up and ride with him to help handle the horses but not really if you know what I mean.  At least Dax thought he was handling the horses.  At the end of the carriage ride we were dropped off at a Garden that was sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent.  It was quite an oasis in the middle of a very busy, dusty Marrakesh.  We went other nights to the Old Town Square where it is extremely busy with people vying for your money.  The snake charmers enticed Daxtin over to their lair and all I know is that my son was 2 feet away from a Cobra which made me close to being sick, but Darren thought it was cool (men?). There are thousands of storks in Marrakesh and they build huge pterodactyl- sized nests and they are quite interesting but ungainly animals to watch.  I had booked a henna art for my feet and legs and it ended up being a good distraction from my sadness.  Mom ended up having the funeral on the next Friday so it enabled us and my brother and his family in Vietnam to get home in a timely fashion.  This also allowed us to fly back to Europe as planned and this improved our flight connections home to Canada.
