Getting Into Paris

Paris was on strike and running out of gas due to the blockaded oil refineries.  The trucker union and other unions were doing rotational strikes to prove their point that the pension age should not be moved up by two years.  Can’t say that I blame theme, I sure as hell would not want to work up to the age of 67.  Hopefully I will be in Phoenix then with my feet up and a margarita in my hand.
So all of Paris was out of gas, up to 4000 petrol stations across France had run out of gas and people were scrambling to  find a station that still had some and the long line ups were incredible.  This kind of situation does not work well for a tourist, me.  Personally I have never been a fan of Paris.  It is dirty, crowded, extremely noisy and not exactly the friendliest place on earth, if you know what I mean.  I just don’t get what the world is enamoured with when it comes to Paris.  Their wines aren’t even that good.   I don’t get Paris.
