Mexico City, Mexico

The flight to Mexico City with AeroMexico was fine, they gave us a little supper snack to tide us over for this 3.5 hour flight from LAX.  We had a bit of trouble getting out of the airport because everyone and their dog was trying to rip us off.  The taxi company which we had already paid in advance to get your slip of paper to give to the driver was insisting that our luggage would not fit in his car.  After numerous assertive overtures from me that it would, I gave up on being assertive and got slightly aggressive.  Now they know not to mess with Canadian women.  We easily fit our bags in the car and we were off to the Melia Reforma Hotel.  The hotel was very nice and we checked in smoothly and tried to hit the hay as quickly as possible, knowing that we had to get up at 5 am to get back to the airport to catch the next leg of our flight to Buenos Aires.  This AeroMexico flight was also fine if you are ok with being in a seat for 9 hours.  At least they served free wine and two meals.  They had 3 movies that I have already seen so that was boring
