St. Julian's, Malta

We stayed another night at the Le Meridian Hotel in St. Julians.  The hotel was beautiful set on the St. Julian’s Bay with crystal clear turquoise water.  We got an upgrade to a family room with a huge terrace, I liked that.  We walked around the bay and found a great little outdoor restaurant on the bay to partake in Greek Salad and more white Maltese wine.  It was like sitting in Monaco, it was a glorious setting.  We later went to another bay side restaurant for supper called Paul’s Seabreeze and we met Lino Cassar the manager who knew more about Canada than many Canadians.  He was very interesting to talk to and we asked to have him in a picture with us.  I tried the Maltese specialty of Lambuca fish, it was a nice light fish and it was delicious.  Once again I tried another white Maltese wine the Chardonnay and it was good as well.

I am not sure why Malta is not on everyone’s top 10 list of countries to visit, because it should be.  There is so much to do, so much history, so much beauty and the people are great as well.  I know that we will come back for sure.  I could live in Malta.  You should visit Malta.
