Amman Marriott Hotel

Nice business style hotel in the heart of Amman Jordan.  They had a huge Christmas tree set up in their lobby with the largest collection of gingerbread houses that I have ever seen.  The accommodations were comfortable and modern.  Internet was not free it was 11 JOD.  We ate at Champions Restaurant and it was very good and decent prices.  We only had one night here so we did not spend much time at this hotel.  I got a friends and family rate of 99 JOD which was decent.  There was free parking as well.

We stayed here to be close to the Amman International airport but what was funny is that the airport is out of town and if we would have stayed at the Jordan Valley Marriott where we were for 3 nights then we would have actually been closer to the airport than Amman Marriott, so if you have your own car rented I would suggest you stay on the northern tip of the Dead Sea in the hotel area instead of staying in Amman if you need to be close to the airport.
