This is an 8 month old hotel and it is already showing its wear and tear.  This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel but I would peg it closer to a 4.  The furniture is uncomfortable and all stained up already.  We paid for a suite which was a nice size and that got us into the Executive Lounge for free drinks, breakfast buffet and snacks and a light lunch and light supper.  The bathroom was marbled up and large.  The lobby was huge.  One huge downside to the Hilton is that the internet was 25 USD in your room which is ludicrous.  I got the suite for 11,500 Rupees which I thought was overpriced by about 100 dollars.  I went right to the Hilton site and booked.  Expect to see the bomb sniffing dog outside the Hilton to gain access into the hotel grounds and then you have to go through security to enter the hotel.  This Hilton was just OK for me, I was expecting so much more for the price.  All I can say is I am darn glad that I did 5 star in India because I would hate to see 3 or 4 star.
