We rented this week from RCI.com my timeshare company for 1479.00 USD.  It was my most expensive week on the world tour but it was certainly worth it.  We stayed in a two story townhouse which is directly on the Marina.  We had a balcony off of the Master bedroom and a large terrace with very comfortable and luxurious furnishings.  The views from your balcony and terrace and within the townhouse are beautiful.  Even out the back glass door there is a view of turquoise water.  The kitchen is full of stainless steel appliances and about 30 feet of granite counter.  It is well stocked and I could cook anything I wanted with the dishes and pots provided.  We had our own washing machine and dryer to use.  The living room was very large with a flat screen on the wall.  There is a half bathroom on the main floor as well which adds to your convenience.  There are 10 foot ceilings up and down with crown moulding.  Upstairs are the two bedrooms and two bathrooms.  They are very large and decorated very nicely.   The beds were super comfortable and there is a walk-in closet in the master.  The lighting in the whole townhouse is very good.  The unit is extremely spacious and comfortable and I did not want to leave.

There is a tiny restaurant/store at the resort but we rented a car and chose to drive into Rocksound to get our groceries at the full service grocery store.  This drive is about ½ hour.  There are two beaches within walking distance and one is out your back door and one is directly around the Marina.  Boats come and go as well as large yachts.  The fishermen come and clean their catch at the stations and they throw the remains to the nurse sharks and bull sharks.  This can generate up to 20 sharks fighting for a piece of fish.  This is free entertainment at its best.  We also saw a stingray in the marina and other pretty angel fish etc.  The beaches here are gorgeous and calm and clear with turquoise colour water.  Don’t miss a drive to Lighthouse Beach about one hour away.  It is absolutely the most stunning beach I have ever seen.  Things are really laid back here and it is a place of relaxation.  The locals here on this island are extremely friendly and helpful.
