Travelodge Garden City, Brisbane – Australia

This was a fairly basic hotel.  It was clean and fairly new and modern.  Some downsides to it would be the lack of a bathtub, it only had a shower.  It had a couch for Dax to sleep on so the room did accommodate our family.  Internet was not free and I do not know if it had a fitness room, I did not have time to work out.  The mall is about a 5 minute walk away and it has a large food court.  We rented a car because it took us 45 minutes to drive to the hotel from Brisbane Domestic airport, there was some construction.  On the return to Brisbane International the drive was less than ½ hour.  I booked this hotel directly through its sight and it was a total rip-off of 190 Aussie dollars.  In North America I could get this hotel for 49 dollars but everything is expensive in Australia.  The hotel is set in a fairly domestic area with houses all around.  It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but how can it be without a bathtub.  It is a 3 star at the very most.
