Villaggio Boutique Hotel – Mendoza, Argentina

The Villagio is set in a nice park area of Mendoza.  There are many restaurants and shops and convenience stores close by.  They serve a delightful buffet breakfast that was included in our meal.  There was lots of selection and it was filling.  The pool area was very nice but the water was frightfully cold but refreshing in a ‘lake that the ice just melted feeling’ kind of way.  We had booked a triple room and Ezekiel first gave us a double that was so small it felt like a cruise cabin.  We went downstairs and he said that they could set a cot up but there was absolutely no room to move even without the cot let alone our luggage and a cot so we demanded a bigger room, the room that we actually booked and later got it.

We were in room 405 and it is a very big room and we had plenty of room to have the extra cot set up for our son.  We had a large closet that had a desk built into it and a chair and a good sized bathroom with tub.  We had a tiny sitting area with two chairs and a table plus a fairly large bar area with a separate sink area and counter plus a wine fridge that held 20 bottles and a wine service area with good quality glasses and wine.  There was also plenty of room to leave our luggage open on the floor.

The workout area had 4 pieces of equipment and the treadmill was out of order so I was not impressed with that.  The wifi was free all over the hotel and the speed was adequate on the 4th floor plus there was a business centre.  I booked this off of and got the triple room for $115.00 USD.
