We decided to rent # 47 which is apartment 4 B on Arenales Street in Recoleta for 1500 USD for the week. Recoletta is supposed to be the most posh place to stay in Buenos Aires.  It is a great location on a fairly quiet street.  It is a historic building and the elevator is the ancient kind that you have to close the door.  Our apartment has 2.5 bathrooms and 3.5 bedrooms with a kitchen.  It is comfortable and nice.  The beds are really great.  There are 4 flatscreen tv’s  to watch.  The furniture is modern and new.  Be aware that this is an apartment rental so you will have to buy your own supplies like toilet paper, dish soap etc.  On their visual layout on their website they have laundry but there is no laundry which was a disappointment for us.  The internet was wireless and free and quite fast.  There is a small grocery store with wine and alcohol about half of a block down on Arenales street so it is very convenient.  Our only complaint here is that the lighting in this apartment is poor and it is more for style than serviceable. Storage also is limited.  Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.
